Mobile development often involves large binary files (assets, designs) and complex merge conflicts (project files). Mastering Git is essential.

1. Git LFS (Large File Storage)

Don't bloat your repo with design assets. Use Git LFS to store pointers to large files instead of the files themselves.

git lfs track "*.psd"
git add .gitattributes

2. Interactive Rebase

Clean up your commit history before merging.

git rebase -i HEAD~3

Use squash to combine "wip" commits and reword to fix commit messages with typos.

3. Bisect

Find the exact commit that introduced a bug.

git bisect start
git bisect bad # Current version is bad
git bisect good v1.0 # Last known good version

Git will perform a binary search, checking out commits for you to test.
